Welcome to The Giving Tree (Devizes) Ltd — a small shop with a big heart. We like to keep things simple, fair, and friendly, so please take a moment to read through our terms before shopping with us. By using our website or placing an order, you are agreeing to the following.

2. Placing an Order

When you place an order with us, you’ll receive an email confirming we’ve received it. Once your payment has cleared and your parcel is packed, we’ll send another email to let you know it’s on its way with tracking details.

If, for any reason, we’re unable to fulfil your order (for example, an item is out of stock or there’s an issue with payment), we’ll contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative or a full refund.

3. Payment

Payment is taken at the time you place your order. All transactions are processed securely and encrypted. We never store your payment details, and we don’t share your information with anyone other than the postal or courier services needed to deliver your order.

4. Delivery

We use Royal Mail 48 Tracked for most deliveries. If we need to use another courier, we’ll let you know by email.
We aim to dispatch all orders within two working days. Delivery times vary, but most parcels arrive within three to seven working days. If your parcel hasn’t arrived after a reasonable time, please get in touch so we can help track it down.

5. Returns and Refunds

Change of Mind

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. Please contact us at gifts@givingtreedevizes.co.uk before returning anything.

Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resaleable condition. If the packaging is vacuum sealed, it must be intact. We cannot accept returns where seals have been broken.

You’ll need to cover the return postage, and we recommend using a tracked service. Once we’ve received and checked the item, we’ll process your refund within 5 working days.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please let us know within 7 days of receiving it. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund, including reasonable return postage.

Some items such as personalised or perishable goods cannot be returned unless faulty. If this applies, it will be stated on the product page.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Your details are only used to process and deliver your order or to contact you about it.
We never sell or share your data with anyone else. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including images, text, designs, and logos, belongs to The Giving Tree (Devizes) Ltd or is used with permission. You’re welcome to browse and enjoy our content but not to reproduce or use it commercially without our consent.

8. Liability

We always do our best to ensure your order reaches you safely and in perfect condition. However, we’re not liable for delays or losses caused by circumstances beyond our control (such as postal strikes or severe weather).
Our total liability for any order is limited to the value of that order.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
