Product Details
There is something particularly lovely about knowing where your honey comes from. Potterne Honey is a small family business run by Paul, Rebecca and their two daughters, with hives around Potterne, Devizes and Salisbury Plain. Their bees forage across a wonderfully varied Wiltshire landscape of hedgerows, gardens, wooded areas, the Kennet and Avon Canal and Salisbury Plain, giving each apiary its own subtly different character. Spoon this golden summer honey over warm buttered toast, swirl it into porridge or yoghurt, or keep it beside the kettle for that little drizzle of sweetness in a favourite drink.
It is also the sort of jar that makes an easy, thoughtful gift when you want to take something a little more special than the usual chocolates or flowers. Add it to a breakfast hamper, pair it with tea and biscuits for a cosy present, or simply enjoy a jar at home and taste a little of the Wiltshire countryside with every spoonful. Better still, choosing Potterne Honey supports a local family business with a genuine passion for helping the local honeybee population.
