For the taste of summer, the runny honey flavour comes from the hedgerows and meadows which are in flowers during the end of spring into summer. Know as the bee keepers "liquid gold"
The honey is extracted from the bee hive frames, filtered to remove any bee bits or capping’s from the extraction process.

The beehives for Potterne Honey are located within Potterne, Devizes and Salisbury Plain capturing the flora of the local landscape ranging from wooded areas, hedgerows, urban gardens, the Kennet and Avon Canal and Salisbury Plain. Each apiary has its own unique flavour of honey foraged by the bees.
